The focus is on nine candidates for general principles of intelligence, including among others the principles of Active Interconnections, Agent-Environment Coupling, Adaptive Representations, Multimodality, Multi-Timescale Computation, and Incremental Assembly of Capabilities.&nbsp;<br \/>This richly illustrated volume combines scientific foundations with accessible explanations and insights into research practice, ethics, the promotion of early-career researchers, and science management.
